Setting Another New Record! JDEnergy Supports Grid Connection & Commissioning of East China’s Largest User-side Distributed Modular Energy Storage Projec
On December 12, the user-side energy storage project of Jinsheng Holding Group invested and delivered by JDEnergy achieved official grid connection. Boasting an installed capacity of 11MW/22MWh, it stands as the largest user-side energy storage project adopting distributed energy storage solutions delivered by JDEnergy in East China. The grid-connected operation sets a new milestone for JDEnergy in the application of distributed energy storage on the user side.

To celebrate this important milestone, JDEnergy joined hands with Jinsheng Holding Group to hold a grand grid connection and commissioning ceremony. Distinguished guests attended the event, including Guo Weiwei, Director of Energy Management Service Center under Hangzhou Development and Reform Commission; Chen Youwen, Deputy Director of Qiantang District Development and Reform Bureau of Hangzhou; Shen Jian, Deputy General Manager of Zhejiang Jinsheng Holding Group Co., Ltd.; Du Jianrong, Chief Engineer of Yuntan Technology Co., Ltd. Also present were Ma Jinpeng, Deputy General Manager of Marketing, Liu Yahui, Director of Strategic Marketing, and Ma Liangjun, Director of Project Development from JDEnergy.
01 Witnessing This Extraordinary Moment Together

At the opening of the ceremony, the Deputy General Manager of Marketing of JDEnergy delivered an opening speech: “With successive release of energy storage subsidy policies nationwide and widening peak-valley electricity price gaps, industrial and commercial energy storage can satisfy the investment return expectations of all parties along the industrial chain, effectively help enterprises cut electricity expenses, and facilitate higher penetration of renewable clean energy. It is predictable that industrial and commercial energy storage will embrace rapid development.
The 11MW/22MWh user-side energy storage project of Jinsheng Holding Group is the largest user-side distributed modular energy storage project of JDEnergy in East China. It sets new records both for JDEnergy and the whole industry, carrying milestone significance for both JDEnergy and Jinsheng. After grid connection, the project can ease power load pressure during peak seasons approaching year-end, boost production capacity, and support enterprises to realize green and low-carbon transition.”
Shen Jian, Deputy General Manager of Zhejiang Jinsheng Holding Group Co., Ltd. (the project owner), stated in his speech: “In recent years, Jinsheng Holding Group has kept pace with the times, phased out backward production capacity, and actively pushed forward energy conservation and carbon reduction. Suffering from the orderly power consumption policy in 2021 while benefiting from continuously expanding peak-valley price gaps, we concluded that an energy storage project was imperative. After comprehensive comparison and evaluation among more than 20 enterprises, Jinsheng selected JDEnergy. The project has operated on trial for over one month so far, and all returns far exceed expectations, which proves the correctness of our decision to cooperate with JDEnergy.”
Chen Youwen, Deputy Director of Qiantang District Development and Reform Bureau of Hangzhou, remarked: “The grid-connected operation of the 11MW/22MWh user-side energy storage project of Jinsheng Holding Group marks another solid step forward for energy transition in Qiantang District. The project helps improve emergency peak regulation capacity, guarantee reliability and safety of power supply, and bears great significance for advancing the development of the new energy industry.”
Guo Weiwei, Director of Energy Management Service Center under Hangzhou Development and Reform Commission, commented:
“Hangzhou boasts a large economic volume yet relies heavily on external power supply, facing great pressure on energy security. Energy storage serves as the optimal solution to tackle these challenges. This project sets an outstanding example for industrial and commercial energy storage in Hangzhou and will inspire more similar projects to take root and thrive in the city.”
02 JDEnergy Speed Takes the Lead in the Industry

Witnessed by all guests, the ceremony concluded successfully, and the 22MWh energy storage project invested and constructed by JDEnergy and Jinsheng Holding Group achieved smooth grid connection. The project represents an innovative initiative for Jinsheng Holding Group, a leading textile polyamide manufacturer in Qiantang District, Hangzhou, to realize green transition, as well as a positive practice of ESG principles.
From product shipment to grid connection, JDEnergy only spent 20 days, achieving an industry-leading delivery speed. Supported by highly standardized products and a professional, efficient team, JDEnergy won the race against time. It vividly demonstrates JDEnergy’s outstanding service capability and fully validates the “JDEnergy Speed”.
In the future, leveraging the peak-valley electricity price policy in Zhejiang Province, this project will help the enterprise cut power costs and serve as a backup power source for production, enabling on-demand power access and stable manufacturing operation. Meanwhile, it supports the enterprise in achieving energy conservation, carbon reduction and green transition.
03 JDEnergy Solutions Rise to All Challenges

As a landmark benchmark project of JDEnergy, the 11MW/22MWh project involves a total investment of approximately RMB 40 million with 10kV high-voltage grid access. Divided into three arrays and adopting independent energy storage module technology, the project deploys a total of 60 units of eBlock-372 products. After commissioning, the project is expected to deliver around 13.5 million kWh of electricity annually for peak shaving and valley filling, generating about RMB 11 million in total annual revenue. Based on a 15-year operation cycle, the cumulative power discharge volume will reach roughly 202.5 million kWh with total cumulative revenue of about RMB 165 million.
Industrial and commercial energy storage brings both opportunities and challenges! Amid prevailing price wars across the sector,
JDEnergy consistently adheres to maximizing customer value and pursues the minimum levelized cost of storage (LCOS) over the full lifecycle, rather than merely minimizing upfront investment at the expense of system safety guarantees. JDEnergy’s distributed modular product solution features ultimate safety, high cost efficiency, grid friendliness, intelligent operation & maintenance and flexible deployment, capable of meeting all safety and economic requirements of industrial and commercial energy storage.

Moving forward, JDEnergy will accelerate the layout of industrial and commercial energy storage. With optimized solutions, the company will fuel the green transition of thousands of industries and contribute JDEnergy’s strength to attaining the dual carbon goals!
