LED + Energy Storage: JDEnergy Powers Listed Enterprises to Build Smart Energy Consumption Systems

Recently, the 25MW/50MWh energy storage project in Huai'an, Jiangsu, for which JDEnergy provided energy storage equipment and system solutions, has successfully pioneered the new application scenario of "LED + energy storage". Delivering multiple values including cost reduction and efficiency improvement, stable power supply, and solar-storage coordination, it has created a replicable and promotable practical model for enterprises to build smart energy consumption systems.
 
 
As JDEnergy’s first containerized energy storage project in Jiangsu, the 25MW/50MWh energy storage project in Huai'an, Jiangsu, is equipped with 10 sets of Galaxy-1 string-type prefabricated cabins and connected via 10kV high voltage. Officially grid-connected in January 2026, the project has recorded a cumulative charging capacity of approximately 8.5GWh and a cumulative discharging capacity of around 7.6GWh since its operation for three months, with a system conversion efficiency of about 89.4%. Its stable and efficient operation performance has verified the reliability and effectiveness of JDEnergy’s products and technical routes.
 
 
Located in Jiangsu, a major national energy consumption province, the project owner is a listed enterprise in the LED optoelectronics sector. Its products are sold well at home and abroad, with an annual power consumption reaching 300 million kWh. To optimize energy costs and guarantee production power supply, the enterprise selected JDEnergy’s energy storage solution after strict screening and comprehensive evaluation.
 
After grid connection and operation, the enterprise can save about 800,000 RMB in electricity fees every month, effectively solving the challenge of cost reduction and efficiency improvement. Meanwhile, the energy storage system also serves as a capacity expansion facility, providing reliable and flexible energy support for key production equipment during peak load periods.
 
 
In addition, the project has built an efficient solar-storage coordinated system. During periods of sufficient sunlight, the energy storage system stores surplus power to promote local consumption of green electricity. When sunlight is insufficient, it releases electricity in a timely manner to ensure the stability and continuity of power supply.
 
 
The 25MW/50MWh energy storage project in Huai'an, Jiangsu, marks a successful practice of the "LED + energy storage" application scenario and another benchmark of energy storage empowering the energy transformation of high-energy-consuming enterprises.
