200MWh! JD Energy Joins Hands with EBR Energy to Explore the Blue Ocean of Energy Storage in Pakistan
From April 17 to 19 local time, SOLAR PAKISTAN 2026 grandly kicked off at the Lahore Expo Centre. JD Energy showcased its star products eBlock-250 and eBlock-418A at Booth M-2-7, sharing innovative technologies and smart solutions with global customers to jointly build a green future for South Asia.

Unlimited Potential:Promising Energy Storage Outlook in Pakistan
Pakistan’s energy transition is entering the fast lane. With rapid economic development and continuous population growth, the country’s power demand has been rising year by year. Meanwhile, its domestic oil and natural gas reserves are limited, making the development of clean energy an inevitable choice for national strategy.
Notably, Pakistan is blessed with abundant solar energy resources, boasting huge potential for photovoltaic power generation. Against this backdrop, its photovoltaic industry has achieved leapfrog development, with installed capacity surging 50 times in five years and exceeding 51GW by early 2026. However, while the large-scale application of photovoltaics alleviates energy shortages, it also brings new challenges such as grid fluctuations and consumption difficulties.
As the key to solving this problem, energy storage has become an indispensable part of Pakistan’s energy transition. The Pakistani government has also clearly encouraged energy storage deployment to address issues including peak-valley regulation, frequency support and stable power supply. At present, a huge blue ocean market is taking shape rapidly, with broad prospects and imminent growth.

At this exhibition, JD Energy directly addressed core market demands by highlighting two flagship products: eBlock-250 and eBlock-418A. Both adopt the "All in One" design concept, integrating long-life cells, BMS, PCS, active safety systems and efficient thermal management systems into one unit. With advantages such as safety and reliability, cost-effectiveness, flexible deployment and intelligent O&M, they became the focus of the entire exhibition.
The eBlock-250 is tailor-made for industrial and commercial energy storage. Featuring a standardized unit design, it supports direct parallel connection on the AC side for easy capacity expansion. It is equipped with millisecond-level grid-connected/off-grid switching functions to provide uninterrupted power supply for critical loads. It comprehensively monitors battery status, grid parameters and operating environment, providing fault early warning, health assessment and maintenance prompts to support safe, efficient and long-term operation.
The eBlock-418A supports various operation control modes such as primary frequency regulation and peak shaving, as well as grid dispatch. Adopting a heterogeneous cluster control platform, it enables sub-millisecond-level synchronization and precise scheduling for thousands of devices. It fully covers multiple application scenarios including grid-side and industrial and commercial energy storage, making it an ideal choice for building a stable and flexible new power system.
