Introduction

With green development now a shared global priority, constructing green ports has become both an ecological imperative and a pathway to high-quality economic progress. Xiamen Container Port, recognized as a green port of the Asia-Pacific region, has deployed a 1MW/2MWh energy storage project that not only stores surplus photovoltaic power, but also supports peak-shaving, valley filling, grid stabilization, and demand-side response.
