Introduction
This project is one of the first batch of 19 new-type energy storage pilot demonstration projects announced by the Sichuan Provincial Energy Administration in 2024. It is also one of five 100 MW / 200 MWh grid-side key energy storage projects in Chengdu. It provides an important demonstration for promoting large-scale application of new energy storage, consisting of exploring regional energy transition pathways. The project adopts JDEnergy's distributed smart energy storage solution, consisting of 20 independent energy storage units and a total of 479 eBlock-418. Each unit is equipped with a 5500kVA 35kV transformer, achieving local voltage step-up within the unit. A new 110 kV booster station has been built in parallel, fitted with a 100 MVA main transformer and connected to the 220 kV Yongdingqiao Substation via a 110 kV transmission line—creating a high-efficiency, stable, and robust power transmission network.
